Box Tops from General Mills and Campbell's Labels
Attention
parents! Want a simple way to
help our school? All you have to do is clip and send in labels
from the foods you already purchase. We are excited to
participate in two of these programs: The first is the "Box Tops for Education"
program. Look
for the box tops on General Mills, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Betty
Crocker, Old El Paso, Yoplait or Hamburger Helper products. The
box tops are worth ten cents each, which
General Mills sends to us in the form of a check that
we add to the general PTO fund. This fund supports the Helping
Hand program, provides books for the SMILES Book Distribution Program,
and helps to pay for field trips and Teacher Appreciation activities,
to name a few. The second is the "Campbell's Labels
for Education" program. You can find these labels on
Campbell's, V8, Franco American, Pace, Prego, Swanson or Pepperidge
Farm products. It states beside the Campbell's pencil logo
whether to save the UPC label, lid, etc. The Campbell's program
has a catalog full of items that we can "purchase" with our labels,
such as art and music supplies, software, sports equipment, and books
for the library and math and science supplies. Just clip the
labels, stick them in your child's folder, and send them to
school. The labels will be collected periodically, tallied, and
credited to your child's class. At the end of the school year we
will have a party for the class that brings in
the most labels and box tops. Whether you collect two or two
hundred of them, please send them in because every single one
makes a difference. Thank you for supporting this effort to make
our children's experience at Margaret Beeks even better! Please
